Reseda Blvd is on a "shortlist" for a busway.
[LA County Supervisor] Yaroslavsky said his plan had always been to build three busways in the Valley -- the east-west busway that is slated to break ground in spring, and two north-south lines on either side of the Valley connecting with Metrolink stations in Chatsworth and San Fernando.
"It's not cheap," he said. "I think we need to do it right in both places. The (east-west) busway already is, quote unquote, on the cheap ... not a subway, not light rail. We owe it to the people in the San Fernando Valley that we do it right. It's going to be beautiful; it's going to be an amenity."
