A WALK ON THE MILD SIDE
FUND-RAISER: The ONE Intergenerational Center is having an Intergenerational Walk at Lake Balboa (map) on March 22. ONE (Organizational Needs for the Elderly) offers a wide range of services, including: The ONE intergenerational center, a landmark childcare and adult daycare program that brings together young children and seniors; Caregiver support, referral, and assistance; The ONE Senior Center; Transportation for mobility impaired seniors; Home delivered and Senior Dining Centers meals to over 2500 seniors each week; Care for homebound seniors who have no one else; and The ONE Encino Farmers Market (map) each Sunday. The group can always use volunteers.
